I can BARELY get the bronze for everything up to level 4, which I can't even get close to beating.

Route carefully so that you're always headed back to the matriarch with the maxed amount of food held. Use the lunge to cut corners and save time. Try to parse each "wave" of food spawned to get the ideal route, that's really the name of the game.

With the events, you want to get rid of the bad ones, and sustain the good ones for as long as possible. There's an event that doubles the food you get from collecting and one that doubles your capacity. Use the powers to extend these events (ideally the first one mentioned) and get rid of the non-desirable ones. You can foresee the upcoming events, and (hopefully) the description given should adequately describe what is going to happen. Your power/stamina are there for you to use and abuse as much as possible.

You can do it! You can also watch the full playthrough video linked to see how I handled it.

how many endings does the game have?

Three, for each kind of medal there is. So, if you have minimum all bronze on levels, you'll get the first ending, minimum silver the second, and if you have all golds you'll get the best ending.

ah, nice, i thought so. also, i was thinking about a bad ending where the servant gives in to the amulet and takes over the matriarch, basically sitting on her big form, indulging himself while the matriarch is under some sort of hypnosis or similar thing. i was thinking about the bad ending being all bronze medal and the ok ending when you have at least one silver medal, and the other endings like normal. though this all is just an idea i had, so dont take this in any serious way if you dont want to :3

Cute ideas, but the game is the game, ultimately! I didn't really want alternate story beats. The endings are just little rewards, nothing drastic.

i get it, and its alright! after all, its just an idea from someone who played the game! also, very nice game, forgot to praise it at first!

Level 4 is hard but the game looks cool!

pretty good, i really the matriarch design!

(+2)

fun and addicting! slippery controls is a bit annoying making it difficult to get past bronze with little or no time left. however, i got the ok ending!

(+2)

Quite a fun little game! Couldn't get the hang of the slippery controls at all though so I had bronze in all of the levels lol

I think I'd like to move on to other projects, for now. Maybe someday.

If you're curious about the game, I've uploaded a full playthrough here:

What's the point of getting a game if you can't even play it for yourself?

It's a game jam game, so I just wanted to put out what I have just to submit, even if it's...non-functional, for some people.

Hoping the judges all happen to have half-decent computers...

I fixed it! Have fun!

This game is so awesome!!! The use of the amulet was such an amazing detail that added onto the gameplay. Honestly I had more fun with this than I imagined, the game is pretty fast and well polished with the simple actions. It's so good, I felt bad that I could only get bronze on every single level. Game's hard, or at least challenging to go for gold.

I ran into a crash while trying to see the future event on the last level, though the game is pretty short (Or at least short enough that I didn't mind replaying through it again to catch up to that point), just a shame that the game doesn't save progress after leaving. ...at least I think it doesn't? Mine didn't, lol.

Regardless, I'm rating this game high. Art and Weight Gaining was top notch too. Seeing the Queen(?) lizard get all thick like that was just 'French kiss~'. Also Salazzle/Salandit energy. Have to mention it, incase anyone else tries to compare it.

Thanks for the compliments! Try again, the crashing bug should be fixed...

No, the game doesn't save progress. The runtime's quite short, so getting back shouldn't take much too long.

Concerning the Salazzle/Salandit thing...look, if Palworld can get away with it, so can I!
